Cake.Love.Chocolate.Addictive.Both,Insanely Delish.

I made this cake for Teacher's day.


We had a ''tea-time'' or should I say PARTY on Teacher's day.


Weirdly, It feels like ''Kid's day''(儿童节).


Maybe it's because of the Crazy environment, and lots and lots of snacks.








I used to have this kind of party when I was in primary school.


I miss it so much.






Who doesn't like Oreos? Who doesn't like chocolates?


okay, maybe there is. But these ingredients are the most popular and acceptable by the crowd.


The combination is great, (I think...)


Moist Chocolate Cake, Cream,Oreos, Chocolate Ganache, Peanut brittle, some raisins,more oreos...





This cake is fudgy, moist ,and delicious. Hope you'll give it a try!


Recipe for cake:






Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Cake



2 cups sugar
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
(I used the dark cocoa this time)
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 cup buttermilk
(I used  low fat milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.





Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans. 


 Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans, and flip over onto wire racks. Cool completely. 10 to 12 servings.


SUPER EASY !!

for the Chocolate Ganache

700ml cream

700g Dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon glucose syrup/corn syrup



Place the chocolates chips in a big bowl. Control yourself not to eat it.

Bring the cream to a boil the quickly pour into the chocolates.

Add in the syrup.

Let the cream and chocolate sit for a while, about 2 minutes.

Stir it until smooth and irresistible.....

After cooling it down, put it into the fridge, covered.



For the filling: (sorry I didn't measure this!)

Some whipped cream, some oreos, some peanut brittle (crushed into pralines),

some raisins....



The last part is to stack the cake and the filling together, Ice it with chocolate ganache,  Decorate it..lick your  spoon.. Pop it into the fridge,

That's it!
